Week 2.2 - 20/9/18 - PROGRESSING IN PREPARATION FOR INTERIM
Today in class we looked over our homework and critiqued how fitting it was with our rhetorical concept, I personally think I made some great progress throughout the week, but still think I have a wee way to go before the interim assessment next Monday. I discussed with André the idea of experimenting with turning the Marinui building into a confetti canon to not only give a sense of location but also spark the party sort of idea. I have a few ideas on the way I could achieve this which I'm excited to try.
Another aspect I spoke about with Ant was ensuring that the text stating "Seaside Shindig" had a greater hierarchy than "Lyall Bay" as the focus needs to be more on the event and less on the location which I completely agree with!
I'm currently finding it interesting working with Maddie, we both seem to have quite different methods of working and although we are both quite illustrative we do have varying opinions on styles of a number of things. I'm hoping that we'll be able to compromise in order to to both feel satisfied with this project.
