Week 1.1 - 10/9/18 - STARTING OUT
This class we were introduced to the two potential topics we could undertake for this project, allowing us to opt to create a community event either for the town hall or for neighbours day. During class we also talked about target audiences and creating event to suit these audiences by using simpsons characters. We had to create events and posters that would suit the bio of a simpsons character. I found this opened up my mind leading forwards to make sure that when designing my event I need to have a focus on the people involved in it and not lose sight of that.
We were also introduced to our partners, this was a choice however at my table the two people I know the best had paired up together, which meant I paired up with a girl called Maddie Jones. I feel like this will be a good experience for me getting to work with someone I don't really know.
Maddie and I elected at the end of class to design a series of posters for each topic and reconvene on Thursday to establish which chosen topic we think would be easiest to advance with. She decided to do the town hall, which meant I did neighbours day.
